Breaking Through

And while the rain is still falling, lighting softly on my face and mingling with tears of my own, I look up and I wait. I look to the horizon where the clouds are parting like doors on a hinge, providing an opening for the radiance that can hide no longer. In a moment, all is washed in gold, gleaming and reflecting off the shimmery cloak the rain has left behind.

Hope still prevails.

A few drops still linger, gently falling and smearing light and water together on my lens, brightening my perspective.

Perfect.

Water and Light

Psalm 130:5 ~ “I wait for the LORD, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope.”

Micah 7:7 ~” But as for me, I watch in hope for the LORD, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.
