Project 365 Day 67: The Color of Joy

Tulip Embrace

Canon 5D Mark ll, 100 macro 2.8, 6.3 aperture, 1/160 200 ISO. Allien B-800 with 20 degree grid behind at 1/8 power and another B-800 in front to right with 10 degree grid at 1/32 power.

Found these beauties when Chris and I  went to the store tonight to shop for our dinner ingredients. I always browse the floral section. These lovelies stood out above the rest with their glorious reddish orange brilliance. If joy were a color, this would be it, I think. At any rate, they came home with me and sat smiling at me as I cooked our lasagna. Though closed in the grocery store, they opened when I set them in my kitchen and Chris sang and played his guitar while I cooked.  I think they knew they were home.:)

Here are a few more of them. I just love them. Captured forever here now.
