It is steaming hot here in Georgia, the air so thick it takes great effort just to walk to the mailbox. However, it is also the season for these gorgeous garden tomatoes. After gathering them from the garden today, I knew I had to photograph them for today’s image. They taste as good as they look too. On toast with a bit of mayonnaise and salt and pepper, or on pita bread with some sliced mozzarella cheese and fresh basil. Oh yes, and then there is the fresh salsa, and fresh tomato sauce for all of your Italian dish dreams. I absolutely love them, and hope to have enough to freeze and put away for the winter months.
Here are a few more of the ones I picked fresh today.:)

Those look absolutely delicious Mary Anne.. I love them with Mayo and salt & pepper. My grandmothe brought me up that way with those delicious tomato sandwiches.. Thanks for sharing. : ))
You should do food commercials.
I want a sandwich right now.
Hey, where are my tomatoes? I did have one of my church friends, who is 104 years old , bring me one. I had 3 sandwiches from it. There is nothing like a home grown tomatoe. I believe John Denver had a song about them.
I think Fazoli’s has an open spot for you 😉
These are beautiful. Well done to the man who grew them and to the artist who captured them as they are!
Those are beautiful! Dad will be very proud that someone in the family is continuing the gardening legacy.
