Seeing the sun setting on our drive after a very long day, I felt safe, and in my element again. Here, with the tips of the fescue grass glowing like embers, as the sun prepared to light the fields aflame one more time, I was home. I have grown fond, attached even, to anticipating her gleaming display as she slips into her brilliant slumber every evening. Especially here, with this these trees, this pasture, this road, this fence line. These silhouettes of home. At the end of the road is the strong and tender embrace of my husband and, for now, the laughter of my children. I am washed in contentment and gratitude.
Happy to be home.

Such a security and peace on the farm in your pictures. I want to rest in these shots and just breathe. Thank you.
