Portraits

some favorites

September 20, 2009

I have been thinking a lot lately about my nature photography and how I miss it. I want to get back to it. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE shooting people. People’s spirits mingled with beautiful light is a magical mixture I hope to always capture. However, I do miss this, and need more time for it. I find God in the dew drops, the evening and morning light, and in yellow flowered pastures. He tells me He loves me in these things, and my life and soul are enriched in finding and capturing them. Enjoy some of my faves I recently put together as possible wall canvas ideas.

OMG, AMAZING!!! I wish I could buy all of those prints, I think my favorite is the light pink wildflowers with the road behind a few from the bottom! And yes, start taking more nature photos, rejuvenate your spirit & creativity & be blessed!!! Love you 🙂

Mary, how marvelous! The pictures are amazing, but you are the real jewel-bright shining as the sun. What a gift you have. I am so happy that you use that gift instead of hiding it.

Your photographic eye seems to capture the essence of perhaps what God intended the human race to see before we were a fallen people. i wish you could photograh the Garden of Eden for both the redeemed and the unredeemed of the world to see. Your photograhs have such vividness, so crisp and almost alive. You must keep shooting nature photography. God gave you a magnificent eye to capture all His beauty through the lens… Ansel Adams would be envious…
