I am embarking on a new journey in my photography, and I am so excited. I don’t know exactly what it will look like yet, but I sense God moving me into a direction that is already blessing me down to my toes. I know it involves capturing the beauty in women, and helping to build their confidence in themselves. I will most definitely blog more about this as it develops. I believe there are amazing adventures on the horizon as I continue to seek God’s way for my path as an artist.
When I asked Rachael if she would help me begin this journey, she graciously agreed. No, she does not work as a model. I don’t even think she has been photographed much except for her engagement and wedding photography. Truthfully, she doesn’t even really know how stunning she is. She has a light that radiates from within her. Rachael’s spirit is so pure and honest. She is the girl next door, married to a hardworking cowboy and lives in my hometown. I cannot tell you how much fun we had playing dress up with a make up artist and a flower wreath fit for a princess. It truly was a wonderful day. I think every woman deserves to feel this beautiful, and I want to be part of making that happen.

These are really great photos. I enjoy reading your blog. Photographing women to build confidence in themselves is a really unique idea, it’s hard in our society today to have that kind of confidence and to know that we are beautifully made.
