This is not a recent shoot. In fact, I took these last September, about two months before my sweet friend Cynthia had her baby, Isabella. I had the joy of being present at her birth. I am posting these now because in the busyness of my 365 project last year, I didn’t get to share these like I wanted to. I don’t get to do a lot of maternity photos, but I love them. I love the vulnerable and intimate nature of a woman who is with child. She is feminine and yet strong, lovely in every way. I would love to capture this better as I grow as a photographer.
My friend Cynthia was a perfect model, so comfortable with herself. The picture of confidence and beauty. I just had to share them.
