Well, she did it. Four years after she moved into that first dorm room, Annie has completed her Bachelor of Arts at Oglethorpe University. And summa cum laude at that. We are so proud of her. And although it rained as we huddled under umbrellas on the quad , we didn’t mind. (Although Johnny does look a little annoyed. It is an act.) We were so happy to see her walk across that stage, beaming and happy. Just look at her!
We believe she has a very bright and promising future ahead of her. How could she not? She holds the world by the corners, and God is holding her. Love this birdie!
Here are a few more of her exciting day.
( and yes, that is Ted Turner seated on the stage!)

You have an absolutely beautiful family.
Aww, thank you Laura! I love them so much.:)
I am so proud of Annie! I have come to expect nothing but excellence from her. She started to read at such an early stage and has continued in her quest for knowledge. Annie is such an accomplished writer and loves to read other people’s writing. She loves to tell you what current book she is reading and will discuss the contents gladly with you. Can you tell that I think this granddaughter of mine is something special? I love her so much!
These photos made me tear up…love you guys. Congrats to Annie!
Congratulations to your girl – and to the parents who homeschooled her 🙂

It is hard to express enough accolades to such a complete young woman, intelligent, Godly, kind and beautiful. Congratulations are hardly enough. Best wishes and Godspeed to her in all of her life’s endeavors.
