I watch them, the little purple coneflowers and their suitor, in their dance. Petals reach to receive soft butterfly kisses, colors mingling in the summer sun. I am entranced watching this love affair unfold.
It is a gift and I am lifted out of my own entanglements, suspended in worship once again. I see my Father God everywhere. His creation sings of his love and attention to detail and I am soothed again knowing He is near.
Do you see him too?
Psalm 27:4 ~”One thing I ask from the LORD, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.”
