It has been several days since I have posted on my 365 (which is technically not a 365 Project anymore) but I have decided to press on because I find such joy counting the gifts and the days.
I visited with a dear friend today in her beautiful home. It was like a drink of cold water sitting with her and talking about life, Jesus and our children. She is a blessing in my life and I don’t get to see her often enough. When I left her house I decided to visit the Botanical Gardens on a whim. There was only one other person there and I meandered the gardens in the sunshine, drinking in the quiet and the beauty. What a gift of a day.
The little crocuses caught my eye immediately. They were bursting in color deep in the leaves, singing songs of hope and a new season. As one of my dad’s favorite flowers, they hold a special place in my heart too.
I can feel God working the soil loose in my heart so that the new mercies can spring up. He is doing something new and I am so grateful. It has been a hard, grief-filled winter. He is with me walking every step – wiping every tear.
He is with you too. Don’t give up. The crocuses are singing new songs.
Isaiah 43:19 ~”See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”

Thank you for pressing on and accepting that we don’t need to be perfect to be worthy! I am enjoying your pictures and words. Just wanted to let you know 🙂
So thankful you are pressing on. Your posts are as close to Heaven as I’ll get here on earth.
