Springing Up
God is always speaking.
When I look around me and listen carefully, I hear him. That is why I love doing a 365 project. It trains me to attend to his beauty and his voice.
Today, I heard him speak through this sweet black-eyed Susan that I found blooming this first week in January. This is no coincidence. He is sending notes of encouragement and hope. He is making the impossible quite possible. He likes to show up when we have given up on him or ourselves and say, “This is the way, walk in it.” He is ever leading and loving us — blowing kisses of kindness and blossoms at our feet.
He is so very good.
How I love the Lord. Who is like him?
If you are discouraged tonight, don’t despair. Help is on the way. You are so very loved.
Isaiah 43:19 ~”See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”
Jeremiah 6:16 ~”This is what the Lord says: “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.”
