I watch them with such admiration. The tulips on my table are holding nothing back as their petals flutter one by one to the earth. There is a beautiful strength in their surrender. It is glorious to behold.
Once again the flowers are teaching me – how to worship, how to shine, and how to surrender. In their short lifespan, these tulips have done these things with perfection. There is no fear in them.
I want to be like the flowers. I want to unfurl all the closed places and worship my God with all that I am. I want to surrender with arms stretched wide, holding nothing back. Is there anything as winsome to him as our yielded hearts? They are a sweet fragrance to our Father.
Thank you sweet Tulips for instructing me today. Well done, my lovelies.
