Wedding Posey
If it is true that our outer world mirrors our inner world than I am truly a mess. My house is in complete disarray as we are having new floors put in upstairs. All of the bedroom furniture from the kids rooms is in the dining room and office area. My laundry room is stuffed to the brim and I can barely squeeze in there to put a load of dirty clothes in. Nothing is in its proper place at the moment and it has me a bit out of sorts.
Perhaps that is why this sweet ranunculus caught my eye this morning. She was in the center of a stunning bouquet Annie brought home from her friend Lexie’s wedding. Each petal knew exactly what to do, staggering themselves in perfect lines behind one another. Only God could create something so ordered and yet so wild at the same time. He is the amazing creator God. I felt his peace as I photographed this precious wedding posey. She was a perfect 365 project subject.
The chaos in my home will soon subside and I will have some lovely new wood floors upstairs. (Goodbye 17 year old carpet– hurray!)
Perhaps that will be the perfect backdrop for a lovely bride and her wedding party to get ready this April.
