We are a hive of busy bees in the Morgan home right now. We are moving furniture, ripping up old carpet and painting walls. I am very tired. Plopping into bed sounds really good right now.
If it were not for this project that is exactly what I would be doing. Instead, I am pausing to thank God for this amazing sunset he gave us over the farm. I am grateful for one more sunset– one more lavish gift from Father God. The trees, in their barren winter state, are exquisitely vulnerable against the brilliant sky. How I love winter trees. You can see right through to the soul of a winter tree.
I never want to take a single sunset for granted. I hope I am always stopped in my tracks by the wonder of each and every one.
