This is my husband. He is truly the best leader I know. This image is perfect of him- always behind the scenes keeping his eye on things.
He is not an ostentatious leader. He has never raised his voice to us to make a point. However, do not take his quiet nature as a sign of timidity. He is a man of deep conviction and he is at the ready to defend the character of God or those he loves if challenged. He is loyal to a fault.
He has always lead us this way. He is steady and true, faithful and honest. He nearly always thinks before he speaks, which is much more than I can say for myself. He is up before the rest of us every morning, reading the scriptures and journaling what he thinks God is saying to him. This is one of the reasons I told him to start his own blog. He has so much wisdom to share.
My mom often told me I didn’t deserve my husband. She said it in jest, but it was a testimony to how much she loved him. I don’t deserve him, it is very true. But do any of us deserve any of the blessings God gives us? No, it is all grace. Chris is part of God’s immeasurable kindness to me.
I am so grateful for my husband the leader. If you would like read some of his wisdom you can go to chrismorganblog.com.
Proverbs 3:3,4 ~”Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.”

Mary Anne, what a beautiful testament to the wonderful man God has blessed you with! Your hubby left quite the lasting impression on my husband, Christopher, a couple of years ago. At that time Christopher was serving as a part time worship leader at a small local church. Our family was looking to go on a much needed vacation and Christopher reached out to worship leaders at several local churches to see if they knew of anyone who could fill in for him while we were out of town. Your husband was one of the very few to respond to his inquiry and provided him with several recommendations right away. Knowing how busy your husband must have been with all of his responsibilities at church and home, Christopher was really touched that Chris would take the time out of his busy schedule to answer his email and send recommendations to him. Later, when we sensed our season at the same church was coming to a close, Christopher reached out to your hubby to seek his wisdom and advice. And, once again, your husband graciously gave of his time to encourage a fellow believer and worship leader.
Many thanks for sharing your creativity through your blog and pictures! I look forward to your posts each day!
