Day 79 Nightfall Worship

I love this view. When I come out of my house late at night and look up this is what I see — the house lights contrasted against the heavens.

No matter what the day has held, this place brings a sense of God’s presence and peace. The expanse of the heavens reminds me of how small I am and how great God is. Yes, I am small but I am held by a great king.  I am so grateful to lay my burdens down at his feet. He is big enough to handle it all, and yet so tender to carry my heart.

He meets me here at nightfall. He is a strong, faithful God and he is good.

Psalm 42:8 ~”By day the Lord directs his love, at night his song is with me— a prayer to the God of my life.”
