She sits there sweetly, little Chrysanthemum. Her title is indeed formidable to pronounce (or even type) but her beauty is exquisite. Her yellow petals form intricate patterns that are both artistic and mathematical.
If I do not stop to notice — to nod to her beauty — who will? It is mine to do in this moment. I am privileged to honor Creator God by acknowledging the goodness of what he has made. Are we not like him when we see that “it is good” as he did that very first week?
This flower is lovely, Father.
And just like that the gift is mine, given into my hands by God through gratitude- through noticing the beauty. Not that I now own this flower, but instead the happiness that gratitude brings.
Joy is now mine in the shape of a Chrysanthemum in my heart.
Thank you Father. It is good.
James 1:17 ~”Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.”

Exquisite – I am dreaming through your words
How can we overlook the amazing thought that the Creator of the Universe would not be touched by simple words of thank you for all the beauty we simply tip toe past every day. Thank you for tapping us on the shoulder today to remind us.
