Beautiful Katie
I was so thrilled when Katie decided spontaneously to come home tonight. Chris and I stopped by the store on our way home and I hurried around the aisles getting the supplies to make her dinner. My heart filled at the thought. Food is every mother’s love language. After dinner she agreed to let me take some portraits of her with her new hair color. I think she could have any color hair and still be beautiful. This child. She can stop time with that face. But if you know my Katie, you know the loveliest part about her is her heart. She loves people. She fights for the underdog every time. Sometimes we call her “justice” just to tease her. We know that if someone needs defending, Katie will step up for them. She is kind and compassionate but do not be fooled. She will put you in your in place if she feels you are mistreating someone less fortunate than you.
We love that about her.
Katie can sing peace right into a room and she writes some beautiful songs. One of my favorites is Stars which she wrote with her daddy. Click here to play it or download it. I am so proud of her.

Katie is a real beauty as all can see but what cannot be visibly seen is her inner beauty which I know very well. Beautiful, inside and out! How we love her..
I don’t think I would have recognized her if I had seen her at a distance and didn’t hear her voice. What a transformation. If she wanted a different look, she certainly got it. Of course, she is beautiful – nothing could take that away. She is the best and a great dance partner.
