This is my friend Holly and her babies Charlie, (pictured above) and Evie (below). Holly and I have a lot in common. We are both photographers, we love God and we adore our animals. I am so glad to know someone who shares these things with me. I spent the day with her this week and I just had to share some of the images here for my project. I told her I needed more people on my blog, and it doesn’t hurt to have two beautiful black labs as well. She kindly acquiesced. They are so unique. Charlie is the serious old man and Evie is the silly, playful girl. Holly is a precious person and her photography is stunning. You can find her work at hbrownsphotography.com. Her work has a natural beauty and she is gifted in photographing food which I still cannot master. Maybe she will show me her ways someday.
I don’t know where I would be without my sweet animals around me. They are my constant companions and they help to keep the house from feeling so quiet these days. They help to keep my heart open and tender when I want to shut down, and they stay up late with me when everyone else has gone to bed. There are two at my feet as I write these words, just waiting for me.
So sweet.
Blessings Holly, Charlie and Evie. You made my week.
