This is how I picture us, me and you. Weathered, ready for the storm, and always connected. How deeply I love you. The years have not taken anything from us. Our love is deeper, sweeter than I could have ever imagined. We are connected to the same branch me and you. And he holds us tightly, to him and to each other.
When I said yes to you, I had no idea what was in store for me. It did not occur to me that I was getting the most loyal, steadfast love a young bride could hope for. You have loved me sacrificially just like you said you would. You have borne me up and I have come to know my own colors in the sun. Thank you for that. And because I have been loved by you, I know a little more what God’s love is like. Thank you for that too.
No matter what may come, I know in my heart that my best and brightest days will always be the ones when I was holding your hand.
Always.

Gorgeously said.
Thank you, Rudy. And thanks for stopping by! 🙂
I love y’all’s love. It is inspiring and uplifting… you know it’s a godly love when the sparks shared between two souls spread light and warmth into other relationships, too. A beautiful thing, what you two have.
Thank you Ellie. Bless you sweet girl!
How blessed you are. When the children have flown, then it is wonderful if you love the one who is sleeping in your bed. Chris was the perfect husband for you, Baby girl. And you were exactly what Chris needed to complete him. The two of you together are a fantastic package.
You and Chris are examples for all couples and for all parents! Love you sis! So proud of you!

I could not have said that any better.
I love my life with you.
Honored that you chose to write about us today.
Love, love, love this…simply beautiful!
I just discovered your site and read this. And resonated. A few days ago I blogged on my site much the same as this. Only with my “love tried and love held tight” story behind the words. I called it “Held Tight” and linked a song I wrote by the same name, “Held Tight.”
Thank you for sharing as you do! Beautiful!
