This half crumpled Daisy is so lovely in her delicate state. Her softness is irresistible, her face still shining. “It’s okay to rest.” I wanted to say to her. “It’s okay to lay yourself down and surrender.” Her beauty, her elegance, endures even in rest, or does it become more apparent? All she needed was the right one to gather her up and speak tenderly to her, to notice her.
Her beauty lies in the eyes of the one who holds her.
Psalm 138:6 ~ “Though the LORD is exalted, he looks kindly on the lowly; though lofty, he sees them from afar.”
Psalm 139: 13,14 ~ “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”
