This is Annie’s lovely friend, Kate, whom she fondly calls ” Kate the Great”. Kate came to stay the night with us last night and is such a joy to be around. She and Annie look like they could be sisters. I couldn’t resist asking her if I could photograph her before she left today. She shyly acquiesced. I am pretty sure she has no idea how beautiful she is. Truly, like my own girls, she shines from the inside out. A rare jewel.
