Canon 5D Markll, 24-70 2.8L, 2.8 aperture, 1/250 shutter, 200 ISO
Okay, I confess I took this yesterday at the park, but I am not feeling well today, and am taking a Sunday rest. Besides, I love this image and the ones to follow below. Always hard to choose one. It’s okay to rest, especially on a Sunday . ( Especially if it was just taken the day before).:)
Also, I would like to give one of these on this post away. An 8×10 print. You choose. All you have to do is leave me a comment and I will choose a winner this week and send it to you.
Blessings on this beautiful Sunday. May you find rest and peace. May you find God. He is always near.
Numbers 6:24-26 ~ “The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace.”

Mary Anne,
I have been in awe of your photography for a long time now. I’ve always been in awe of God’s creations and the way you photograph nature makes it look even more encouraging and represents God’s promises so well. One of these days I am going to get you to take pictures of my boys to capture their personality and their love for one another. If anyone can do that it would definitely you.
As I recover at home from a recent blood clot in the lung and a setback of a bacterial GI infection, I look forward to what beauty you will post next. I have been at 12 Stone for many yrs and watched your family grow, lead and love on so many. It is an honor to call you my sister in Christ and I hope you get to feeling better really soon!
With Christ’s love,

I’ll take the one in the middle please! Haha! Just kidding…Seriously though, you are such an amazing talent and I look forward to reading your post’s everyday. They make my heart happy <3 Hope you are enjoying your day of rest.

I love the first picture with the hands. So beautiful! You just have an amazing talent. I pray you feel better very soon. And Sunday is a day of rest so no shame in that! Take care!
Where is that beautiful tree!
I always love looking at your photos. They show not only talent, but passion.
I’ve been following your photo blog for a while now, and one of my favorite parts of my day is coming to look at your daily picture. They are always so inspiring! :]
Oooooohhhh!!! We have two of those beautiful tulip trees in our back yard and they have just begun to open their beautiful blossoms to welcome Spring! Perhaps they welcome her a bit too soon, as we may just get another frost before Winter has his final say! I hope not, though. Your images are so much better than any that I have captured of these lovely pink glories! I have to agree w/ Lisa, your ability to capture God’s beautiful creation is just wonderful. The worship print I purchased from you (the water and the bowl) is placed perfectly in my kitchen and greets me each morning. It’s a breath of fresh air and a reminder of God’s faithful provision. Thank you for that.
Looks awesome! I’m loving following this project! Keep it up!
I look forward to going to your page every day. I enjoy seeing what amazing photo(s) you have taken. You inspire me with your incredible talent.
you capture beauty in just any moment, and your love for nature is obvious. I love your natural talent that is getting more and more amazing with each shot you take! I am a true fan and look forward to the captured shot and the stories behind them. They are so inspiring, and delicious to indulge in. Thanks for sharing your talent with us daily…it is such a blessing.
I’m loving your 365 project. Every morning after I grab my breakfast, I come and sit at the computer to check out you new post from the day before. They are like a mini devotion for me as I get my day started. It’s such an encouragement to me in a different way each day. I love how you use your photography to point to the Creator. As a photographer who’s buried in the paperwork and details of trying to start of business, your work always reminds me of why I want to do this and hope to point to the Creator the same way you do.
Thank you for sharing your work and thoughts with us every day.
The beauty of spring refreshes our soul. Thank you God for the seasons and the photographer’s eye to catch it.
Thank you for using the talents God gave you in such an amazing way. You touch hearts and lives as you share how you see the world with so much beauty. Unique perspecties, great lighting and focus and some of the most amazing shots!
Every one of those pics is so pretty! And I love hearing your heart behind each day’s photo 🙂
All i can say is that I love, love, love your photographs. i follow your blog daily and I am always amazed when looking at your photographs.
Oh, the beauty of spring! Especially when shown in the photographs of a special photographer. Thank you Mary Anne for sharing your talents. Love you.
So many comments, because everyone loves your beautiful art so much! We’re all coveting that gift print, because it would be such an honor to have one of these photos. 🙂 I would be thrilled and proud to have a piece of your work hanging in my house. (I just had a side thought – do you sell your work through your site?) Of these four, my favorite is the Tulip Tree Blossom, with it’s face turned expectantly toward the sky.
As always, thank you for sharing the daily slice of beauty.
