She Dances

When she dances, colors fly and the sun clings to her silhouette. Time seems to slow. She was made for this and everything else was made to witness it, to be caught up in it. She was made to dance for the One who made her. The One who made every spiraling curl. The sparkle in her brown eyes. Her feet rooted in like flowers, she spins upward, arms uplifted to the sky, garments opening out like petals over the earth. She is both grounded and flying weightless at the same time. She brings Him worship, and all is right for those moments. When she dances.
