Washing Mediocrity

Have your ever noticed how deep the colors run in the rain’s washing of the earth? It as if creation reveals her truest self, and laughs like a child, face to the sky. And as mediocrity washes away with the dust, the colors gleam deeper.  All comes to life in the cleansing, including me.

Come and walk with me in the rain? Perhaps we will find the face of our Creator reflecting on shiny red leaves, glistening webs, or in the puddles at our feet. I think I can see Him resting there on your cheek, with your face to the sky.

Isaiah 6:3 ~ ““Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.”
