No matter how far my red skippies roam, I can find always find my way home again. All I have to do is worship. I find Him in the light that streams through fall leaves, the sun that stretches across the open lake, and in songs of others as they lift their hearts toward heaven. The parts of me that are homesick for my eternal home find rest in these moments of worship and freedom. He is here with me, and He has surely gone ahead of me to prepare a place for me. Today I found Him and my home in all of these places. He tethers me to Him through worship, and I find my center again. I am truly grateful to worship a God of such incredible beauty and light.
John 14: 1-4 ~“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.”
