Softly, sweetly, the trees respond to their invisible suitor. The wind woos them into a dance. Coyly, they lift their skirts to begin their promenade. Up, over, down, and around again. Twisting, twirling, they have forgotten their structure, bending, swooning to the whims of their partner. The leaves seem to move in unison, undulating , giving way to waves that roll across the tree line. It is as if the ocean is now in the forest, up in the skies, replete with the sounds of water rushing in and then receding again.
All of creation surrenders in worship to the Creator God.
And I am caught up in the dance.
Isaiah 55:12 ~ “You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.”
