The images in this blog are of Jason Jimenez and his stunning daughter Madelyn. They had a daddy-daughter date at the park today, and allowed me to follow them around a bit. She is beautiful, crowned in golden ringlets, and she holds the heart of her daddy in the palm of her little hand. This is as it should be.
The beauty and freedom of their sweet relationship reminded me of the incredible importance of a father’s love in a daughter’s life.
All of her life, first as a little girl and then as a woman, a daughter is looking to hold the focus and attention of her father. He, with the strength and tenderness found only in a father, can tell her of her immeasurable value and beauty. With his words and affection, he can set her free. Free to be all she was made to be by her Creator, free to run and know someone strong is watching over her, free to eventually love a husband and give him her everything. As he values her, he answers the questions of her heart, the questions that only he and God Himself can answer. “Am I lovely? Am I worth your time? Do I matter?” As she learns the answer is “Yes! A resounding yes!”, her heart unfurls, and opens to love and be loved.
If he withholds these things from her, she will consistently scan the horizon for them, and for him, her whole life.
I could see today that Madelyn is well on her way to having these questions answered as they should be. Running, kissing, hugging, blowing bubbles, swinging, playing in sand, making funny faces, holding hands, putting on boots, piggy back rides, and sharing secrets. This is how a daddy loves his daughter.
Blessing to you, Jason and Madelyn. I wish you a lifetime of daddy-daughter days together.
Psalm 126: 1-3 ~ “When the LORD brought back the captive ones of Zion, we were like those who dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter and our tongue with joyful shouting; Then they said among the nations, “The LORD has done great things for them.” The LORD has done great things for us; We are glad.”

What a wonderful expression of a father and a daughter’s love for one another. Brought happy tears and a smile in my heart. These two hold a special place in my heart for just who they are to each other and to all of those that they touch. You have captured the very essence of them. I so look forward to watching them grow together. I think God everyday for placing them in my life. Thanks for your beautiful artistic ability.
Thank you for stopping by, TC.:) I agree with your words. They are very special together!
Blessings to you,

Thank you so much for capturing these precious moments that were shared. You are an amazing photographer that capture moments that mean the world to people and inspire life through them. You do see the Lord in them. I do look forward to the many more memories that will be created through this journey called Life. I will continue to abide in Christ as he grows me into the father he has for my Madelyn. Words cant express the gratitude and appreciation I have for these captured moments. May God bless you and yours.
Oh and Madelyn is truly thankful for her new found friend in Ziggy.
It was my pleasure, Jason. I was the one who was blessed!

Thanks Mom~ 🙂
this post had me all choked up. Now that two have flown the nest and one is perched on the edge flapping his wings like mad…….. number four so new to our lives. There is nothing like family, watching papas with little ones. Seeing Heavenly father love ozzing out….. I love that she was in such fun colors with the playground equipment. I may have to change our beach photo shoot to Fall playground shoot.
Ha, Anna.
I have two that are flown and one perched as well.Time goes by so quickly! Enjoy the time you have, and blessings to you!
