I didn’t let her out my sight much this week. This one. Not after the other one left on Sunday. They are flying out of the nest left and right around here. Keeps a mother bird on her toes. She made her list, and we worked our way down it, line by line.

Overwhelmed on the Travel Aisle

Tonight she packed her room, her life, in two suitcases as I watched.  It’s exhausting, all the leaving.

As I sit here reading your beautiful blog, holding my new born baby girl, it makes me cherish these moments even more. So thank you for reminding me that even though life gets so crazy sometimes with 4 ”little ones”, this time will be gone before I know it, and I will miss it so badly.

Hang on – I have helped on of my birds fly from the nest, and it was hard…but she is beautiful and has flown around and brought back the best of herself, and grew a family of her own. You can do it, one day at a time and it will be a whole new adventure for you… your closeness will get even closer. Technology is a great thing. Take courage my dear!!
