I am an artist. A mother, a wife. I am a photographer, a daughter, horse-lover, a friend.
I am so many things, but what am I that will impact my life and the lives of others the most? I am a follower. A follower of Jesus.
This image was taken at my church 12Stone today, on Easter Sunday. I am so grateful to be part of such an alive, amazing church. At the end of the service, the ushers handed out nails to everyone. Those that did not yet know Christ were invited to ask Him into their lives and mark their commitment by placing a nail in the cross at the front of the sanctuary. The cross had the word Follower written across the middle. Over the five services we had, many nails were placed in that cross. Many chose follower as a new identity. It was a very good day.
Grateful to be a follower.
Matthew 16:24 ~ “Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.”
