365 Project Day 106: When You Feel Poured Out

Scattered and Sparkling

When you feel poured out and empty, your very essence lying scattered and sparkling on the table.   Rest. When your vessel, barren and howling, aches to be filled again.   Wait.

There is only One who can fill you, bring relief to the ache of  hollowed out places.   He will.

Just when you think the brilliance has ended, the once bright light now pinched to a smolder.   New Mercies.

Lamentations 3:22-24 ~ “Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail.  They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, “The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.”

    Beautiful. Love these sparkle shots you take. Love the words to accent this post. This is a great verse. I love Lamentations chapter three.
