This is my friend, Dustin Ah Kuoi, AKA the Flowin Samoan. Dustin graciously agreed to have a dance party all by himself in the parking lot at church for the sake of my project. If you know Dustin, this is not shocking. He is always looking for a reason to get his dance on. I laughed so hard watching him work the moves out in front of many (some surprised and some not) onlookers as his car stereo cranked out the beat. People like this help my world spin ’round.
Dustin is a super talented and funny guy. He is great at imitating people. I love this video of him imitating Bill Cosby. So funny. He’s also a very talented singer/songwriter and plays a valuable role in the pool of gifted people we have at 12Stone Church.
My favorite thing about Dustin though, is his fight to grow as a person. I admire him for that. He loves God and people, and I always walk away from a conversation with him encouraged. Thank you, Dustin, for your friendship, and for your participation in my project today. As my kids would say, you are the Bomb.com.
Oh, one more thing. Dustin is also part of an amazing band called The A-Town A-List. If you are hosting an event you should look them up and hire them immediately. They are fantastic!

I don’t know Dustin personally, but have had the opportunity (the rare treat, that is) to hear Dustin perform with Rudy and Sam several times at Picasso’s… what talent!! My friend Debbie Ryals sent the link to his videos, serious songs and silly creative stuff. The ones where they are performing as Dem Playa Haters–. I never laughed so hard in my life! Have you seen those?
