365 Day 228: Sunset Silhouettes

Gone Fishing

Canon 5D Mark ll, 16-35 2.8L, 35mm focal length, 4.5 aperture, 1/4000 shutter, 100 ISO

Our first full day of vacation was so restful. I love the image above of Chris and Johnny fishing on the lake at sunset today. It is a picture of how I am feeling on the inside, as quiet and rest spread like the sun stretching across the water to my feet. I am savoring the moments, framing them like precious art. I have decided not to do much writing here this week. Just favorite images.

Here are a few more.

Just wow. Love the boys fishing and… just wow. The one where the sky is clearer in the pool that in the sky is amazing.

If you squint your eyes and look at the reflection of ‘Sister Love’ you will see the image of Christ’s head in the water…He is truly with us everywhere we go…
